Message	:The cheap vacuum pump that I bought wasn't able to make the full 28.3" of vacuum that it advertises but I think it was due to my air compressor. I don't recommend the air driven vacuum pumps because 28.3" of vacuum isn't enough to remove all of the moisture from the system. However, it *may* not be an issue because the receiver/dryer can remove the residual moisture. Many auto parts stores rent vacuum pumps that will pull a full 30" of vacuum for free.
